To make a effective opening, we asked the target audience what they would find attractive in the begining 2 mins of a horror film. We decided to give our questionnaires about our opening film to our target audience (15) We gave our questonnaires out at the local school and shopping centre to get a wider population to genralise the results. We asked a variation of questions in the questionnaire instead of just closed questions so we can analyse the data in depth and find out real what the target audience want. We asked a variety of questions - open/close questions, ranking scale and rate the setting out of 10. We stratigicaly choose our questions in order to help us when it comes to making our openening to a film; we only asked questions that would be help to us so no time of ours, or theirs, was wasted, and also made sure none of the questions were insulting our hurtfull to the public.

Results- We found that
- everybody thinks music is needed and collects more suspense throught the film.
- dolls are scary when used in horror ( which with our first film we used a killer dolls)
- murders make a film more scary ( with our second film we have a killer in the house after the baby sitter and the doll in the first one is going to kill someone)
- dark areas are more scary
- it doesnt make a difference wether the famous actor was in the first 2mins of the horror
